intake-item-nov-07-15-13-52
Hand-Painted Metallica Vinyl Record Art by Des Rodrigues

This one-of-a-kind piece turns a vinyl record into a hand-painted portrait of four Metallica band members, rendered in light grey and white against a matte black surface. The artist's signature and the year 21 appear on the record label area, so the work is signed by Des Rodrigues.

The record underneath is a used Canadian pressing, with a label reading CSPS 2129, Made in Canada, and a track list that includes Survivor, Loverboy and Headpins. Its surface shows the scratches and wear of a played record, which adds to its character. A handwritten note on the label reads Metallica.

A striking wall piece for music fans and collectors of record art. Displays well on a shelf or wall, and makes a conversation starter.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0924/5124/2306/files/item18-1_f5867d89-9ac2-4948-b79e-56e2b503a2fb.jpg?v=1794082508
