A charming piece of pharmaceutical history from the 1920s, this Olive Oil medicine bottle was manufactured by Rolls & Darlington Limited of Toronto, Canada. The bottle features an intact label describing it as "A Universal Household Remedy for Both Internal and External Use," with period-appropriate instructions for use as a laxative, dressing for burns and skin abrasions, and massage lubricant.
The bottle retains its original black metal screw cap and displays the characteristic pale yellowish glass typical of early 20th-century medicinal bottles. The label, printed in green and black on cream stock, shows pleasing age patina and remains well-preserved. The rectangular shape with ridged sides is classic of the era's pharmaceutical packaging.
This is an excellent example of vintage Canadian medicine bottles and medical advertising, complete with its original label and cap—a combination increasingly difficult to find. Perfect for collectors of antique bottles, medical memorabilia, or Canadian vintage products.
