A wonderful 1940s Sawyer's View-Master stereoscope viewer in classic black bakelite, the iconic toy that brought 3D entertainment into American homes. This model features the distinctive dual-lens design and solid construction characteristic of early View-Master production, manufactured in Portland, Oregon.

The lot includes ten original reels with colorful paper sleeves featuring the signature View-Master branding. The reels showcase subjects typical of the era's offerings, from scenic wonders to educational content. The black bakelite body shows authentic patina and age-appropriate wear consistent with a piece that has been cherished and used over several decades.

A superb addition to mid-century toy and advertising collectibles, or for anyone interested in vintage optical toys and the history of 3D viewing technology before digital media.
