A charming 1950s tinplate paintbox titled "The Fabulous Up to the Moon," featuring a vibrant space-themed design with retro illustrations of two children riding a rocket ship toward a bright yellow moon. The lid displays classic mid-century sci-fi imagery including flying saucers, planets, and a space station, embodying the optimistic space-age aesthetic of the era.

Made in England as marked on the base, this paint set comes complete with approximately 100 individual watercolor cakes organized in a fold-out palette arrangement. Each color is labeled with period-appropriate names. The set includes a brush and blank pages for painting, making it fully functional for creative use or display as a nostalgic piece of design history.

The tinplate construction shows authentic vintage patina with paint splatter and wear consistent with age and use, adding to its character and collectibility. Perfect for mid-century toy collectors, space-age enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates charming vintage art supplies and graphic design from the golden age of children's toys.
