This is a 2003 Barbie Collectibles Princess of Japan doll, manufactured by Mattel (Item #B5731). The doll features an authentic traditional Japanese costume in rich burgundy and coral tones, complete with an ornate green and gold obi (sash) and detailed patterned kimono. The packaging showcases a beautiful backdrop of traditional Japanese architecture and landscape, emphasizing the cultural theme of this special edition.

Presented in its original factory-sealed packaging marked as NRFB (Never Removed From Box), this collector's doll remains in pristine condition. The Barbie Collectibles Collection label is prominently displayed on the box, and all manufacturing details and safety certifications are visible on the back. The doll's black hair and pale complexion are carefully styled to complement the formal Japanese attire.

A wonderful addition to any Barbie collection or for those interested in cultural dolls and international Barbie editions. The mint-in-box condition and detailed costume design make this a desirable piece for serious collectors of vintage Barbie dolls.
