This vintage Mohawk No. 6 bench vise is built from heavy cast iron, with the Mohawk name and the number 6 cast into its body. The jaws are serrated and the screw has a polished steel handle, so it is ready to clamp work on a bench.
The vise shows honest age: darkened, worn iron, scuffs on the jaws, and some rust and paint wear on the base. The mounting holes are intact, and the hardware looks complete in the photos.
A sturdy addition to a workshop, garage or hobby bench for woodworking, metalwork or repair projects. Because of its weight, this vise is available for local pickup only.
