A charming antique shelf clock with a carved wood case and a crown of fan and sunburst carvings. The paper dial shows Roman numerals and a brass movement, and the front glass door is etched with arches and botanical motifs in gold tone.
The rear label reads 'Clocks Manufactured Specially by The E. Ingraham Company, for E.S.', tying this piece to the Ingraham name and a late nineteenth century style. The case shows honest age wear, including chips and surface marks, and the dial has some paint loss.
Has been tested working, but may need some cleaning. A lovely piece for a collector of antique clocks or a Victorian-era display.
