A vintage table lamp base with a gold-tone metal finish, shaded black at the edges for an aged look. The ornate square base has scrolled feet and acanthus-style relief, and the slender stem is accented by a faceted clear crystal section topped by a pierced, scalloped metal bobeche.
The lamp has a brass-tone socket with a pull-chain style switch and a wire harp for a shade. The cord is intact, though the finish shows wear, flaking and some dark patches consistent with age, which adds to its character. The base is hollow with a wired interior.
A good candidate for a bedroom, hallway or farmhouse-style vignette. Stands approximately 27 inches tall. Please note this is sold without a shade.
