An antique bow saw with a dark wooden handle and a steel frame, built for cutting meat and bone in a farm or butcher setting. The blade is held by a metal tensioner and clamp, and the wooden grip is shaped for a firm two-hand hold.
Shown as found, with rust on the metal frame and blade, and wear and darkening on the wood. There is no visible maker's mark, so the origin is unknown, but the form points to an older hand-tool design. It would suit a rustic kitchen, a farm display, or a collector of old butchering tools.
