This vintage ship masthead navigation light carries an H.L. Piper Montreal maker's mark cast into its base. It has a metal housing with a hinged top and a clear glass lens, and the interior holds a chimney-style oil lamp with a wire hanger.
The finish shows honest wear, with flaking paint and surface marks on the dome and housing, and the lens is intact. The piece is heavy and tall, so it is best suited to local pickup.
It would make a striking nautical display piece for a cottage, shop or man cave, or a centrepiece for a marine collection.
