This Kodak Brownie No. 2 Model E is a charming example of early 20th-century photography, housed in its characteristic black leatherette body with brass hardware. The compact box camera features a simple lens design and straightforward mechanical operation, representing the democratization of photography during the Brownie's heyday.

Opening the camera reveals a well-preserved interior with a glass viewing screen and the original focusing mechanism. The brass fittings show beautiful patina from age, while the textured leatherette exterior remains largely intact. All visible hardware—hinges, lens surround, and attachment points—display the quality craftsmanship Kodak was known for.

A wonderful addition to any photography collection or for the vintage camera enthusiast, this Brownie captures the spirit of accessible, reliable snapshot photography from the early 1900s. Its compact size and robust construction made it the camera of choice for amateur photographers of its era.
