This charming pair of vintage Italian Capodimonte ceramic cherub planters showcases the exquisite craftsmanship that made the factory renowned. Each 11-inch tall jardinière features a cherubic putti figure in classical pose, draped in mauve-pink fabric, supporting a pale yellow scalloped shell-form bowl. The rim is finished with ornate gilt foliate scrollwork, while the base displays detailed gadrooning in warm gold tones.

The hand-painted details—including the cherub's golden-brown hair and delicate facial features—demonstrate the artistry characteristic of Capodimonte porcelain work. These pieces were designed to serve as both functional planters and decorative objets d'art, perfect for displaying in a period room or as part of a serious collectible ceramics collection.

A matching pair in good vintage condition with minor age-related patina, these garden-inspired vessels represent a beautiful example of 19th-century Italian decorative porcelain. Ideal for collectors of European ceramics, classical sculpture, or anyone seeking refined vintage home décor with historical provenance.
