A striking vintage ceramic lion sculpture finished in rich green glaze with decorative white highlighting. Crafted by CAC (Canadian Art Ceramics), this substantial piece measures approximately 12" x 10" H and showcases skillful hand-modeling with expressive facial features and naturalistic musculature.

The lion is rendered in a resting pose on a rectangular base, with carefully articulated paws, a flowing mane, and an alert expression. The glossy glaze exhibits beautiful variations in tone—deeper forest greens contrasting with lighter olive and golden-brown accents—creating visual depth across the animal's form.

A fine example of mid-century Canadian ceramics, this figurine represents the quality studio work for which CAC became known. Ideal for collectors of Canadian pottery, animal sculpture, or vintage decorative arts.
