This vintage Sargent brass mortise lock set is a beautiful example of quality architectural hardware from the early-to-mid 20th century. The set features the distinctive brass escutcheon plate with ornamental knob and a matching dark steel mortise lock body with cast iron handle. A working skeleton key is included, adding to the authentic charm and functionality of this piece.

The mortise lock mechanism is visible and appears complete, with the internal bolt and latch components intact. The brass shows lovely patina consistent with age and use, while the iron handle retains its original dark finish with warm undertones. This is a substantial, well-made lock set that speaks to the craftsmanship standards Sargent was known for.

Perfect for restoration projects, architectural salvage enthusiasts, or collectors of vintage building hardware. The lock remains functional and would make an excellent addition to a period door or display collection of antique hardware.
