A charming piece of agricultural Americana, this vintage Woodland Dairy wooden crate features sturdy wooden slat construction reinforced with metal wire framework and corner bands. The crate measures 18" x 14.5" x 8" and bears clear maker's markings stamped into the wood: "MADE BY WOODLAND DAIRY" and "DAIRY" legible on the side panels.
The design showcases practical craftsmanship typical of early-to-mid 20th century dairy operations, with evenly spaced metal rods creating divided compartments—ideal for separating bottles or dairy products during transport and storage. An oval hand-hole is cut into the upper rim for easy carrying, and the weathered patina of aged wood and oxidized metal speaks to years of honest use.
This is an excellent example of vintage dairy memorabilia and farmhouse decor, perfect for collectors of agricultural history, vintage packaging, or anyone seeking authentic rustic character for kitchen, shop, or display space.
