This antique aqua glass medicine bottle is embossed with NORTHROP & LYMAN, TORONTO, and DR. THOMAS' ECLECTRIC OIL on its front and side panels. The flat, squared flask shape with a short, sturdy neck is typical of 19th-century patent medicine bottles.

The glass has the soft blue-green tint common to older bottles, with visible embossing that reads clearly in the photos. Some surface wear and light scratching show from age and use, which is expected for a bottle of this era. A nice display piece for a Canadian bottle collection or a shelf of old medicine bottles.
