A vintage metal bench plane with wooden tote and knob, stamped with the number 5 1/2 on the sole. The seller notes it was made by National Blade. Shown with a loose blade and a separate blade-and-chip-breaker assembly, plus a wooden handle and adjusting parts.

The body shows rust, wear and dark patina consistent with long use, and the wooden knob and tote show age. Some parts appear to be the original hardware, though the set is shown disassembled and untested.

A good candidate for a user who wants to restore a classic bench plane, or a display piece for a woodworking shop or man cave.
