A charming pair of Blue Mountain Pottery rooster salt and pepper shakers, each standing 5 inches tall. These whimsical birds feature a striking two-tone glaze: glossy black heads and necks with vibrant turquoise-blue bodies that have a lovely brushed texture. Each rooster has a proud, upright posture and distinctive facial features including painted eyes.

One shaker retains its original cork or rubber plug (visible in photos 3–4), while the other is missing its base plug. Both pieces show the characteristic craftsmanship of Blue Mountain Pottery, a celebrated Canadian ceramics maker known for hand-painted farm and animal figurines. The shakers remain in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.

A delightful addition to any kitchen collection or farmhouse décor, these roosters capture the rustic charm of mid-century pottery. Ideal for collectors of Canadian ceramics, vintage kitchenware, or anyone drawn to cheerful animal-themed tableware.
